‘If You Are A Sex Symbol, You Will Be regarded As One’ – Omawumi

Singer Omawumi was recently interviewed by Pulse TV, where she talked about a couple of things including her view on women being objectified as sex symbols in the music industry.
Recall, weeks ago, Victoria Kimani, had lamented about same issue and according to Omawunmi, she totally agrees with Victoria.
Omawumi said:
There’s truth to what Victoria said, but to each his own. If you are a sex symbol you will be regarded as one.
The ‘Play na Play’ crooner also added that Victoria need not complain, instead she should do something about the issue.
Omawumi said:
I agree with Victoria but instead of complaining do something about it. If anyone is in your business that is not supposed to be give them the middle finger, and tell them to leave you the hell alone. Be who you want to be without having to care.
